Your adventure begins with a private pickup from your hotel by the Legacy of Egypt Tours team, heading toward two of Egypt's most significant archaeological treasures:
1. Saqqara Step Pyramid:
Explore the Step Pyramid complex, designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep for King Djoser. Rising to a height of 62 meters, it stands as the first large-scale cut-stone construction in history, a masterpiece that redefined Egyptian architecture for centuries to come.
2. Lunch Break:
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a high-quality local restaurant, offering a taste of authentic Egyptian hospitality before we continue our journey.
3. Memphis City:
Visit the legendary city of the creator god Ptah. Memphis was founded by King Menes in the early 31st century BC to serve as the first-ever capital of a unified Egypt. Across its grounds, you will discover incredible monuments and artifacts that showcase the wealth and power of the Early Dynastic Period.
